Liberty Park Scoreboard Donated by Tanelli Family in Honor of Nick Tanelli

The Liberty Park Scoreboard is named in honor of Nick Tanelli, a resident of North Caldwell who passed away suddenly in 2013. Nick was an avid athlete who played soccer for Verona High School and then Columbia University. Following his death, his family established the Nick Tanelli Children’s Soccer Foundation and they have been an integral supporter of the Rec Foundation’s efforts to improve the town’s recreational facilities.

brick PAVERS

You may have seen the approximately 150 brick pavers outside the entrance to Liberty Park that were installed last year. These were the result of generous donations from families and businesses in the community. The Rec Foundation is offering another chance to show your support for the North Caldwell community and the efforts of the Rec Foundation. The proceeds from this fundraiser will be used to improve North Caldwell’s athletic fields/recreational facilities and support recreational activities throughout the Borough.

If you are interested in purchasing an engraved paver, please contact us.

Liberty Park is now open! But there are a variety of items that are still needed, including goals, bleachers, dugouts, and more. If you are interested in making a donation with naming recognition (for yourself, family, or business), please email the Foundation and we will respond with the available options within one business day.
